Easter

 Christ is Risen!

The tomb is empty!

 Easter morning was quite full at Bethany!  We began the morning at 7:30 with our Sunrise Service, featuring a program led by the children of Bethany.

Then, while a delicious Easter breakfast was being prepared, the kids enjoyed an Egg Hunt.

Then we ate a wonderful Easter breakfast, courtesy of our very own members!

"Flowering" the cross is a tradition at Bethany.  This occured during the Service of Holy Communion at 10am on Easter Sunday.  This year, with Easter being so late, all kinds of flowers were in bloom, and we had quite a variety for our cross.



The weather was beautiful, the atmosphere was joyous.  All in all it was a wonderful day to celebrate the good news - that Jesus was raised from the dead that we, too, might have new life with him!  Death has lost its sting!  Christ is risen!  He is risen indeed!  Alleluia!
