~Fellowship~ ~Food~ ~Worship~

Come join us for a day of Christian fellowship and games for all ages in the park!

~Games and activities start at 3:00pm~

~bring your knitting needles or crochet hooks~

Come join us for a FREE picnic in the park!

~Picnic will begin about 5:00pm, with FREE FOOD for everyone!~

Come join us for a time of worship as we pray and sing praises to our Lord!

~Worship will begin around 6:30pm~

Bring your own chairs or blankets and join us for a Day in the Park!



A Sign of the Covenant

With all the storms we've been having lately, it was bound to happen sooner or later.  I was just blown away at how the rainbow was placed perfectly behind the church. 

What a glorious reminder of God's promises!

"God said, 'This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.  When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh." Genesis 9:12-15

Our newest Celebrity...

This foal was born in the pasture beside the church this past week, and a steady stream of cars has been stopping in the church parking lot ever since to get a good look at this cutie and take a picture!  Something about new life always seems to boost people's spirits!  God is good!

Bethany Fiber Flock at Mountain ValleyFest

Here are some pictures from our booth at Mountain ValleyFest at Green Valley Park on May 21.  In case you missed us but are interested to join, the Fiber Flock still meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the church!

Some people brought their own stuff to work on..

 But we also taught people how to yogurt-cup-knit...

...finger knit...

... and just plain knit!

We had a great time meeting people and showing off what we do to the community.  Some people were so impressed by the beauty of our items they wanted to buy them!  It was a great opportunity for us to tell about our mission - that we give these items away to the sick and those going through life changes.

We look forward to other ways to be involved in the community and invite others to join us!
